What's New?

Activity is picking up at 2B2.The tractors are uncovered, the grass runway is active and the robins are nesting. The John Murray school of aviation is active and dick has replaced the tired and torn wind socks with new ones. Only problem; Dick was up in the air over this exchange for a little longer than expected.

I understand a little roof walking solved the problem and Dick made a good landing. Pot luck Sundays are drawing a few more folks as the weather begins to break. We are looking forward to an active season and with the help of a few more volunteers and the addition of new members as well as the renewals of our veterans we can achieve our goals. Charlotte and I just returned from a short trip to Italy where we were able to find Mineo's home in Montefalcione, near Avellino. John Ciampa was able to get the exact coordinates on Google map, making it possible to find his home. Minio and Rose visited the ancestral casa in 2005 and this is it in 2012.
