Christmas Cheer Report

The Christmas gathering at 2B2 was great. We should have that kind of weather at the Spring fly-in. We were pleased at the turnout of our friends and volunteers and were extremely happy that Gary and Diane Viera were present. Diane's title says Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Historic New England but we like to think of her as Godmother and friend of 2B2. Arthur Allen, Mass State Aero Commissioner, presented Steve with some historic photos of the airport and Steve presented current photos of the airport, and the Little farm, to Diane.

Tina the trooper was present, even though she had some surgery the day before. The ham she brought didn't last as long as she did.
Our guests included our friends from Squadron 7, our supporters and volunteers, our flower girl, Charlie, and even Baron Alexander Von Richthofen, the great grandnephew of the Red Baron,(a friend and supporter of 2B2 from it's new beginnings). Santa(Steve)had some gifts for the elves that have been working hard to put together the 60x60 hangar and they were greatly appreciated.
Limping Ox and Little Fox were caught trying out their new advanced flying helmets that Steve is fond of. It was a great day. Happy New Year and happy and safe flying.
