Hurrah for 2B2

Plum Island Aerodrome Inc. has signed a 10 year lease with Historic New England. Steve Noyes, the principle behind PIA is seen in photo with Diane Viera of HNE after signing on the wing of Steve's soon to fly restored Birddog.
The name aerodrome is befitting the small historic flying field where we will begin to see expanded activity of classic aircraft as well as the more recent variety of general aviation and experimental aircraft. Birddogs, Wacos, Stearmans and cubs will flock to 2B2 knowing the welcome sign is out.
