Time Flies

Time flies and February got away without a word. A lot is happening at 2B2 and its vicinity. Steve Noyes is busy building another Superdog, while upgrading his STC for the original.
All this is going on while he and his band of merry men are stripping and painting the one and only Varga on the field. Meanwhile, Tina never knows when Steve might be showing up for supper. The weather has not been the greatest for flying and the airport has been quiet, except for some well attended pot luck lunches. Fortunately they were on Sundays free from precipitation so no one had to carry an umbrella. For those unaware; the roof leaks and on some days it is like riding the Maid of the Mist under Niagara Falls. We have solicited financial help to fix the problem and with some local donations and some help from our fiends at Squadron 7, we will start repairs when the weather gives us a break. Anyone wanting to help financially or physically please contact Steve at the airport. The hangar was the site for a gathering of EAA 106, from Lawrence Airport, to hear John Hughes discuss the fun encountered while building a Hatz biplane.
We also recently hosted some Boy Scouts from NH for an overnight campout and are planning some upcoming events when the scouts will be firing rockets at the Spencer,Pierce, Little farm and 2B2 will host flying of radio controlled airplanes. We will keep you posted on these and other events this spring.By the way; do not check the comments as some have been found to be spam or contain viruses.
